Respect in Sport
Submitted By John Wilson on Monday, July 23, 2018
From OWHA: It is mandatory for all Team Staff and Referees to have completed the Respect in Sport Leader Program. It is recommended for one of the parents to have completed the Parent version.

SMGHA Executive have discussed, 2018-2019 (as a soft launch) we are leaving it up to each Coach to decide, if they want their parents to take it this year.

2019-2020 it will be mandatory for at least one parent to take the Parent Respect in Sport Program.

The Respect in Sport is a one time course. It is about 3 hours for Leaders ($33.90)and about 30 minutes for Parents($13.56). At the end of the course you receive a certificate number and it is recorded in Hockey Canada.
