Covid Lockdowns as of Jan 21
The province of Ontario announced lockdowns across York Region that started Monday, Dec 14, 2020. This lockdown was expanded province wide on December 26th, 2020 and has now been extended as a state of emergency until February 11, 2021.
While we safely played hockey through the various colour coded stages earlier in the season, lockdowns have now brought a halt to all indoor sports. So in accordance with these provincial mandates, our house league and competitive programming will remain on pause until such time as the government and public health officials give us permission to return to hockey

While we pause, we continue to work closely with our partners the City of Markham and the Town of Stouffville with the hope that we may resume some form of on ice activity should conditions allow us to do so safely. As some of you may be aware Stouffville has removed ice from some of their rinks however we will still have access to ice in Markham and Stouffville is willing to work with their user groups as well for a return to Hockey plan once safe to do so.
As more information becomes available, we will post updates on our webpage and our social media platforms. The executive committee plans to meet again over the coming weeks so please regularly check back for new information.
