Congratulations to the Midget BB Stars who returned home with Bronze after travelling to Vancouver to compete in the 6th Annual Pacific Coast Female Rep Classic hosted by the Richmond Ravens. This tournament is the largest tournament in British Columbia and it included teams from across BC, California and Alberta in games that featured three twenty minute periods!
Competing against top tier midget team’s - the USA National Midget Champion San Jose Jr Sharks, #3 nationally ranked Richmond Ravens, Kamloops Jr Blazers, LB Energy Predators, and the North Shore (Vancouver) Avalanche - the Midget BB Stars elevated their play and demonstrated excellent team hockey throughout the weekend en route to their third place finish.
In addition to the great hockey competition, the Stars enjoyed touring UBC, Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, Lonsdale Quay, and Steveston Village. It was a great experience for players and parents alike!
