Novice B Stars Win Gold at the Etobicoke Pink the Rink Tournament
Congratulations to the Novice B Markham-Stouffville Stars who won gold at the Etobicoke Pink the Rink tournament and went 5-0 this past weekend.
The girls finished first in Pool A after the round robin defeating the North Bay Ice Bolts, Kitchener Lady Rangers and the Kanata Rangers. They faced off against the Stratford Aces in the semi finals early Sunday morning and won.
The championship game was set against the winner of pool B and undefeated Orangeville Tigers. The Stars won a hard fought game 6-3.
