Stars Novice A take home the Bronze at Leaside March Break Madness Tournament

 

The Markham-Stouffville Stars Novice A team attend the Leaside March Break Madness Tournament. This was their first Novice A tournament of the year since being re-categorized from Novice B. The team as undefeated in the Round Robin. Tying the host Team Leaside 0-0, defeating both Whitby 1-0 and North Halton 4-1. In the Quarter Finals, they shut out Clarington in a 3-0 win. In a hard fought battle against North Halton in the semi-final, the Stars lost 4-2 which secured them a spot in the Bronze medal game. The Stars went on to beat the North York Storm 4-2 to take home the bronze medal. Congrats Stars on a job well done!
