PEEWEE BB start 2019 with 3rd Silver Medal of Season
The Markham Stars were finalists again this season working hard in the Round Robin beating Scarborough 1-0 and Clearview 3-1.
The third game was against Michigan Kensington Valley Ravens, an undefeated American travel team ( 21-0-1 ). The Stars took it to the Ravens playing an outstanding game beating the ravens and handing them their first lost of the season 4-1 providing perfect 3-0 to finish the round Robin.
The final was a rematch with the Ravens but despite a fantastic effort the girls came up short 2-0.
Excellent work girls!!!

The Peewee BB Stars attended the Pittsburgh Elite Thanksgiving Tournament this past weekend playing against top American Tier1/2 and Ontario Peewee A teams.
Finishing the round Robin with a record of 0-1-2 earned them a semi Final game vs the Host Penguins Elite Black. The girls played their best game of the year beating them 2-1 with 15 seconds into Overtime, setting up an all Canadian final against Guelph Peewee A (4473). The Girls gave 100% effort but just fell short losing 2-1 in the final to capture the Silver Medal.
Congratulations Girl's on your Fantastic Weekend
