Hockey Development
The Stouffville Markham Girls Hockey Association (SMGHA) has a 46-year history of promoting girls’ hockey in Stouffville and Markham. The foundation of our organization has always been a highly engaging house league program focused on continuous development and confidence building to help players achieve their full potential.  

Our ask

For the upcoming season, we are evaluating several improvements to ensure that our house league players are learning foundational hockey skills and that our volunteer coaches understand how to teach these skills throughout the season. We are inviting you to respond with your proposed approach and cost structure to deliver across the following areas of player and coach development for the 2023-2024 season. Leading our house league evaluation sessionsLeading a house league coach development session(s)Leading a house league development series before and during the seasonProviding preferred pricing for SMGHA Rep and DS teams who may want to engage your services throughout the season
